The 2nd graders formed an assembly line to make endangered species buttons.
The buttons were a huge hit. A number of students bought several different ones. They can be seen around Upland worn on clothing and outerwear, or decorating hockey bags and bookbags.
Here's the proud class holding the World Wildlife Federation symbol, pictures of the red panda and snow leopard that they adopted, and a facsimile check for $300.00 for the WWF. Great work, kids!
