trek started at palani dam by ~ 9:30 am after 4 of we bangaloreans joined other 20 trekkers from Chennai.
group snap at start

pool means dip time :)
climb on ...
sabari negotiating one of the tricky portions
there were countless number of these small falls.
Raj Jacob our herd leader, meticulous planner

one of those detours because of un-surpassable gorges
huge walls, few of those were really inviting multipitch walls

masterchef rajeshwaran's aloo barbeque
hakka noodles with some holy-mother-of-god masalas
next to campsite there were so many of these lemon trees
we climbed ip to this village from a falls for almost 2 hours, there were plenty of tehse ponies
much needed chai break after that hot like hell climb
then 18 of us started climbing again to Perumal peak, while others bailed out to nearest bus stop
this was much easier eucalyptous terrain compared to day:1's boulder hopping
that small hump was our objective for the day, perumal peak
peak finally ! final ascend was bit steep, what teh heck it was good.
gang snap at top
then started climb down, which seemed super easy in beginning but, thorns were too menacing at the end
