Estrella is one of eleven Maricopa County Regional Parks in the metro Phoenix, AZ area. We camped here Dec. 10-26 and took these photos on our runs and walks.

DYSART TRAIL -- 1.8-mile trail that connects Rainbow Trail with Toothaker, Coldwater, and Butterfield Trails. Next 16 photos.
BUTTERFIELD TRAIL -- 2.4 miles one direction. First 8 photos out and back from main trailhead near sunset.

The desert floor got more and more green during December after several inches of rainfall.
TOOTHAKER TRAIL -- 3.7 miles one way. Next 44 photos are essentially out and back from trailhead but are from four different run/hikes.

GADSDEN TRAIL -- 4 miles, part through sandy and/or rocky washes. Next 20 photos.
COLDWATER TRAIL -- 1.8 miles one way. First mile from trailhead is gravel road, then dirt trail. (3 photos)
GILA TRAIL -- 1/2 mile barrier-free loop (5 photos)
COMPETITIVE TRACK -- 3 miles out, 3 back on the western side of the 7.6-mile Long Loop (12 photos)
