My backyard 4 yrs ago
Gutted house across from St. Augustine highschool in New Orleans.
That be me.
Right after Katrina, some pics missing. Pulled out over 250lbs of hive, were around bathtub upstairs.
These bees were so docile, I wore no protective gear at all.
big hive in ceiling. Removed sheetrock when I used to go in from inside, do most removals now from the outside, much better for the customer.
Meanest hive ever, about 80,000 strong. Got stung 21 times that day. MY nephew said he would not help me with any more removals after this one. The bees from this hive would follow us for two city blocks. The people who owned the trailer bought it with the bees in it 6yrs prior.
My wife loves these picks of them making a chain. This particular hive likes doing this.
Large swarm on bamboo.
The guy said there was no way that bees could be behind this beam.
Pilot hole that shows otherwise.
Two other guys took this guys money and left the bees.
Top of same hive.
Like a painting, almost.
Pretty neat, huh?
This guy refused to pay anyone to remove the bees and said they were only there for a few months, right! Can you say black comb?
Alligator nuisance control guy's house, had been there for 5yrs, in my back yard now for 4yrs.
This hive was about 2weeks old.
Bees drinking out of birdbath, some of my favorite pics, ever.
