We drove in on the east side from Cody WY
Yellowstone Lake off in the distance
Grizzly bear off in the woods
Yellowstone Lake... which was HUGE
Indian Pond, which apparently formed after an eruption blew a giant hole in the ground...
For some reason, I really like the soft colors of this photo
For some reason, this has a bit of European alpine feel to it. Not that I'd know...
I love the ducks on the pond
Yellowstone river. Apparently this is where the trout swims upstream to spawn. They say at this time of year, you are suppose to see them jump up every minute or so... I saw a few swiming but didn't see any jumpers.
Lots of flowers still
The valley in between Fishing Bridge and Canyon Village. Great scenic drive
I love how the trees are just in the middle of the river
West Thumb boardwalk area
More pools, not quite as beautiful as Old Faithful area
Short hike to Duck Lake which is hidden away in the hills near West Thumb
View from the bridge at Lewis Falls.
