A day at San Diego Safari park
A lynx right before the Cheetah run
The dog companion to the Cheetah... running relatively slowly.
The cheetah, MUCH harder to capture
We were lucky to get a second run for the day
It's over before you know it.
Late afternoon on the African tram
Our second trip to Safari park,
Aww baby elephant. So cute!
This tiger tried for about 10 mins to get that thing out of the pool
"Need some help?"
We went on one of the safari tours in the afternoon
This poor gal is bloodied because she broke through her gate that morning. She was originally kept separated from the rest of the rhinos to stay with one of the other rhino that was a bit sick so the keepers wanted to have her keep that rhino company.
Just so people know, there are absolutely NO medicinal property of rhino horns.
For some reason, this guy reminded me of the forest god in Mononoke Hime
Closer photo of the baby :). He'll come closer to us later, but right now he is just checking us out.
Baby walking towards us!
The mother is VERY protective of the baby... even from other female rhinos who wants to play with the baby
