My latest trip to the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. I don't know why they have all these lions - they should have used bulls.
The Great Wall was...well...really great!
Here I am with our Dean Assad at the Great Wall.
Shanghai doesn't look so big here...
Chris was just "teasing" me - he didn't let me sample anything :(
Hong Kong's my favorite - except for all those lions hanging around there too.
This got me back into play with Dave - I got to meet Whoopie! Pretty cool...
I can't wait to try that new Perry's Gelato! See the album on their presentation to my MBA friends.
So, Dave said if I wanted to go to China I had to sit in on lectures just like the students. Did you know China is now the #1 automobile market in the world. Or how about this bit of marketing intelligence about young Chinese women - researchers have identified four segments - Nurturer, Strong Woman, Flower Vase and Urban Sophisticate. I guess I did learn something.
I never thought I'd get to see the Great Wall of China - but here I am!
It just goes on, and on and on...
They had all these lions hanging around the Forbidden City - what's with no buffalo?!
One evening Dave and I took the fast train to TianJin with his friend Wei Loon - just to ride the train. It was faster than a buffalo stampede - we hit 333 kmph!
That's the train - it even looks fast.
Chinese gardens are pretty interesting - lots of rocks and trees and bamboo.
That's me with Tina, my favorite guide in China.
I found a friend while I was in China! Say hello to Phoebe...
I got to join Amy and Javier at the Executive Speaker series today. I want to go to Yellowstone and see my relatives there! (see the spring activities section)
Today I got to sit in on the Fuel Cell Vehicle intro - my recommendation is that all the production vehicles have Buffalo hood ornaments...
I got to sit in with my favorite UB Bull - Warde Manuel, athletic director, while he talked with students about his career and how an MBA helps him in his current role.
