A hospital in Nongkhet, Laos, a Hmong town in the mountains. “My cousin, who was our guide, told us that Hmong doctors in Laos are rare,” Lochungvu says. “I would like to return to Laos to screen the health of the Hmong living in such remote places.”

Lochungvu and friend Stephanie Lee visit a school for Hmong children in Laos. “I would love to one day return and help the community establish programs to inspire and enable youth to pursue their dreams,” Lochungvu says.
