Tikko poses amongst the autumnal tundra
Abby tries out a blueberry. Puppies seem to have a natural inclination to pick and eat berries on their own. Tikko sure loved his Maine blueberries as a pup.
nice wooded trail up to eklutna ridge
still green- not fall yet!
The most watermelon berries that I've ever seen in one place. Too bad they taste so bad (like slightly sweet but very watery and bitter bloated ticks)
Up close watermelon berries. Don't they look delicious?
Abby does the puppy wait thing. Are you coming??
Waiting again. Must keep all members of the pack in sight. No easy task.
Colorful tundra. The blueberry season was very poor because of blueberry-eating moths, but there were quite a few blueberries, and pounds upon pounds of crowberries up on the ridge

Tessa is itchy
Andrew picks some berries with Peter's creek valley in the background
There was a patch of enormus-commercial size blueberries right here. Unfortunately, they were slightly mushy and tasted like it.
A rather large blueberry
Heading over to the overlook of Mirror Lake

Looking over the edge
Andrew, Tikko and little Abby. Rave run.
