One day Dean and I hiked up Raven's Ridge to Deception, Lake and Penitente Peaks down to Puerto Nambe and back on the Winsor Trail. Looking at Santa Fe Baldy.

On the Winsor Trail
Bathroom under construction. Golden Sunrise color caused much consternation.
But everyone loves the tile!
Me and Sara on beautiful Aspen Ranch Loop, also out of SF Ski. We hiked on Winsor, FR's and back Rio en Medio which was especially nice.
Rio en Medio Trail
Sara loves the water!
Sandias. Oh! And yes! Also with Rick bur he wouldn't let me take his picture. We went to North Sandia Peak and beyond one fine fall day.
This is Cherie. Great picture huh? We hadn't seen each other in 12 years and then only briefly. So long time. She came from the Sunshine State. This was taken at Gilman Tunnels.
Yeah. Me too.
Worries unfounded about altitude. Sandia Crest to The Tram and back.
In Kiwanis Cabin
He had to do it. Send me this from Cat Burglar!
Bath pretty much finished. Dick is in.

Many hikers out on Columbus Day for the color
Fall finale. Dean and I did a big loop, up Copper and down Water Canyon to South Baldy in The Magdalenas. This is an old mine.
Some old buildings on the way up Copper Canyon. Adjacent land still private with cattle running amok Cibola National Forest.
The trail follows the creek bed which was running in places. It's always nice to find water in the high desert.
Bright aspens dotted the hillsides.
Looking down and back at Strawberry Peak.
A baldy near South Baldy.
On the Magdalena Crest Trail where a cool breeze was blowing.
Nearing South Baldy summit. This is the Langmuir Observatory, fourth highest in the world.
South Baldy Summit (10,783) the highest point in The Magdalenas.
Driving would've been easier than slogging up 4,000 ft. of trail!
Lightning stuff and the vast Plain of St Augustine.
So pretty. Heading down toward Water Canyon. I broke an arrow pulling it out of a tree.
