Here are two of the horses that I got for Christmas / birthday gifts: a black rodeo horse and an apaloosa horse. The pictures in this album were taken in Dec. 2008 and am only now making this album. Finally!
They are so pretty! They came with the Cowgirl Ranch stables that you see in the background.
They can't wait to meet the dollies.
Here is Connie. She is wearing the new cowgirl outfit that I ordered when I found out my husband was buying me some horses for Xmas.
This horse is so sleek and smooth. Connie likes to pet him.
Being a huge fan of Chris LeDoux's rodeo music and cowboy songs, she decides to name the horses after some of her favorite Chris LeDoux songs. Connie thinks Moonlight Bandit would be a good name for this black rodeo horse.
Connie introduces Moonlight Bandit to Magdalena.
Magdalena likes Moonlight Bandit too.
Now I need to introduce you to the other horses.
This brown & white horse is an equestrian horse. These jumping fences came with her.
Isn't she pretty? Her name is Misty Morning.
The two equestrian horses, Mr. Curtis and Misty Morning LOL.
Mr. Curtis! You need to get out of there, this stable is for horses only.
Mr. Curtis does not like to be scolded, so goes over in the corner and sulks.
Rhonda comes over to introduce herself to Misty Morning.
Here is Ginger. Sadly, she is no longer with us. She got very sick a few months ago and had to be put down on 5-26-09. We all miss her very much.
Magdalena leads Moonlight Bandit out of the stable.
Mia with Western Skies and Moonlight Bandit. Western Skies is an apaloosa rodeo horse.
Rhonda with Misty Morning.
Rhonda goes over to make up with Mr. Curtis, he is such a baby.
Rhonda and Mia.
Rhonda with the 3 horses LOL.
Cute little cowgirls.
Molly and Maggie in their matching dude ranch outfits.
Mr. Curtis comes to see what Molly and Maggie are up to.
We are going to take Western Skies for a ride.
Come on, let's go!
Oh look! Mitchy has come to visit.
Hi Mitchy! We are going to go ride our horse Western Skies, see you later.
The stable hands are busy setting up the stable for the horses.
Now that we have their stable all ready for them, let's take the horses out for a ride!
Being a cowgirl and riding horses is such fun!
They put the horses back into the stable area after the ride is over. The end.
Note: The horse stable is in our Go Big Red Husker room. I normally have AG dolls dressed as Husker cheerleaders displayed on top of this sofa table (in case you wondered why I have red & white pompoms and Husker mascots hanging out).
