So I'm gathering squash from the garden, and stepping across a row, I find myself eye to eye with this guy, sunning himself along more than 5 feet of Cherokee tomatoes and sweet banana peppers. I'm pegging this critter in at 68 inches long, or one of the unit of measure known as "Jon."
This is the face a donkey makes when he drinks goat milk. It's also the face he makes when the mare is in heat, so I think that means he really likes it.
