View from my residence window. It was a rainy day.
As you might suspect, it was a rainy day.
The devsummit is about to begin with the opening remarks.
This was shot while waiting in line to pick up lunch in the Desmarais building.
Food at Haveli indian restaurant.
DevSummit attendees standing in a long line to get their lunch.
Lunch and dessert. I guess it's jhb@'s MacBook in front, since afterwards the working group results were presented.
The DevSummit dinner food (Thai) is brought into the hacking lounge.
As a non-smoker, I like these laws.
That bus in front of the residence needed some assistance.
A bus that said "chartered" on the front display being towed. Must be one hell of a tour. ;-)
The Rideau Canal
The opening session with the bagpiper surprise.
The shot from the other side of the room is in ivoras@ gallery. ;-)
Bug on bz@'s MacBook lock screen, probably caused by video adapter which is still connected. He told me I should show this to jhb@ (which, in a way, I'm doing now).
bz@ asks in the devsummit track: How many teapots does it take to compile a kernel? ;-)
A tuna lunch box

There was salad, too.
The ever-busy gjb@ with his new hat.

On our way back from Cora's, we encountered this black animal. Can you see it?
Same animal, slightly different angle. Can you find it here as well?
To be honest, this lunch box on the second day was a little disappointing. Cold bread and salad, though Apple and cake were good.
This was shot in the Go SCTP! talk.
Dan preparing for the closing session. No WIP short talks this year. Too bad.
My first beavertail. Could not resist taking a first bite before taking a photo. Cinnamon topping, btw.
This is where you can get them in Ottawa.
Dan looks very happy in this picture. He was probably relieved that BSDCan went so well. Kudos!
Last night of the conference at the Royal Oak pub.
Last night of the BSDCan 2012 hacking lounge.
A western omelette from Fathers&Sons as lunch.
BSDCan attendees waiting for the bus #97 to the airport.
While waiting at the gate for our flight (plane on the right) another one (left) was being prepared for take-off.
