My new bussinesscards
It's of to a good start. No train, we have to take the bus
People walking to the entrance
The outdoor exhibit. Look, there are cones !!!!
The main entrance of the exhibit
Jpsaman and I run into the Blueorder booth, and look, it's the VLC plugin we wrote for blueorder
Cisco is showing their 8 stream STB for cable?? and demoing the streams with VLC
Another Cisco screen full of VLC's
Another Cisco shot
Siemens DVB-H. Well hidden, but one of the streams was frozen, and showed the default screen (the cone). Definetly VLC there even though they are trying to hide it.
close-up of the siemens demo viewer
I'm crashing at jpsaman's place because my home is way to far off.
Another company using VLC. This time it's Fraunhofer.
What is interesting here is that Fraunhofer has integrated their own decoder into VLC, that works better then ffh264. As long as they only use it internally there is nothing wrong with such a thing.
VLC demoing another DVB-h stream
IBC is crazy. They have there own Beach
Here we are at anevia. Considerably larger booth then last year. Unfortunetly their location was a bit remote, but they still had pretty good bussiness I think. The person on the right is Damien
The entrance of the IBC conference halls.
On my way back to the train, taking a couple of shots of a beautiful day in Amsterdam
The water police is fining a couple of ppl on this one-way piece of canal.
A freaking miracle. I get called from the other side of the channel by Remco and Karen. What's the chance you are finding a couple of friends in the middle of Amsterdam
It's a busy day at the Dam. You see ppl walking around with IBC lanyards everywhere.
