Note the errors. This sign is near the church on the Pinhoti Hiking Trail which is about 125 miles long and goes through Cleburne County north to south or south to north depending on which way you are going. It starts in Talladega County, south of Cleburne, and ends in Cherokee County, north of Cleburne.
The blue swaths mark the Pinhoti Trail.

Houston Jones, primary caretaker of the church. The church disbanded in 1914 and the families of the former members provide the maintenance and upkeep which includes replacing logs from time to time, new roofs,floor, etc.
A horse trail also passed by the church and is a popular ride for horsemen.
The old spring that used to serve the church but today was dry and overgrown.
