Uncle Jack Kerr and Henry Kerr Memorial, Camp Ground Methodist Church, CR 49 north of Fruithurst AL. Dutch Treat Singing was held today, 1/11/09. The attendance was good for the limited space in the church basement with a good many Kerr family members in attendance.
The singing was not in the sanctuary but in the basement. Regular church service was conducted in the sanctuary.
The room houses a preschool class during the week.
Dylan and some others are going to grow wine-grapes and try a hand at wine making.

Checking out the knife.
The Kerr family.
Mrs. Bowman (Uncle Jack Kerr's daughter) has a cd that her son made up from a front porch tape recording of her family singing on the front porch of the old home back in the 60s or early 70s.
I missed taking pictures of the lunch, time to start the afternoon session.
