Here I attempted to take a video on a Mount Washington hike. The wind was screaming, the rain was falling and visibility (especially with glasses) was next to nothing.
I had trouble staying on my feet and is why the video is so choppy.
Here's a 2nd vid after our summit and now on our way back down. The weather was brutal...
Looking down at where out car is parked at the Cog Railroad parking area.
That's the cog railway over there on the ridge, we're now below the bad weather.
I have NO idea...
Looking over at the Franconia/Lafayette Ridge, where we're headed after this.
Good running trail, 2.5 hours to climb up...1.5 down.
Deb running down, what great form :-)
We just finished out 4.2 mile climb up to the Lafayette Ridge. 3400 feet in 4.2 miles in 2 hours, now to head back down. The trail is Skookumchuck.
We'll be passing here again next weekend when we do the 31 mile Pemi loop.
Looking East off the ridge.
Looking East down into the bowl of the Pemi.
Trail sign and cairn (and Tucker)
