Deb coming in from some chores....I have no idea what Gibbs is doing!
Looking out from the front of the garage.
That building to the right is the shed and meat locker, complete with deer or elk hanging beam.
Our little cabin in the woods.
It looks small from this view, but it is 2300SF and three levels.
Gibbs, now about 8 months old. He'd gained 15 pounds in the three weeks Deb was in Texas.
Gibbs in the driveway...he loves the snow!
Looking up the driveway you can see how much snow we got, somewhere around 18".
Nice shot of the cabin with Los Griegos in the background
Looking at Redondo Peak from the driveway
Bonito Way and our closest neighbor's house
Looking down at our property from Bonito Way and the top of our driveway
Los Griegos from the top of the driveway
A great shot of the wonderful work our neighbor and friend, Harold did with his tractor
The hill behind our house leading down to Ponderosa Rd.
I shoveled a path down it so we could walk to the mailbox out on Rte 4.
Looking to the right of our driveway. This area will be our horse and burro corral someday.
Gibbs is weighing around 70 pounds these days and still growing. He's close to Tucker's size, but beefier.
Looking towards another neighbor's house out behind us from the front porch.
Neighbor on the other side.
It's hard to see here, but here's the path I shoveled down the steep hillside leading to Ponderosa Rd. (Forest Rd 10)
Back of the cabin and our deck looking out to Los Griegos.
...and a balcony from our bedroom.
Gibbs is happy we're now inside ;-)
Looking outside from inside...
These following pics are from a snowshoe hike Deb and I took today ( Sunday)...it was a great day, mid 30's, but the sun made it felt like Spring.
We walked out our front door and this is our extended back yard.
Do you like our yard?
Santa Fe National Forest, which borders our property
Animal tracks in the woods...
Ponderosa Pine forest all around us
The sun was blinding...
Deb and Gibbs up ahead.
Redondo Peak behind the trees
Los Griegos from our driveway now looking not as frosty as it was on Thursday
