It was a fairly easy trail start after a short road section
Some interesting rock formations to the left with colonies of Magpies flying about up there.
and more...it was fairly smooth by Eastern standards.

Another aid station, I forget where but I do remember that here the nausea was beginning. I think this may be around 30 miles.

My only wish is that I got a photo of Karl Meltzer at aid 45 handing me cup after cup of chicken noodle soup...that I placed back on the trail a mile later.
