after a good hibernation... : )
Rear shot PTO, Cat 0 3pt, towbar
tractor rides rock! Yanmar 165d
Extra caps that came with the craigslist tractor purchase
Rototiller Project: (PIC#1) Yanmar original rototiller connected to the 165d. Need a few more bolts to complete
Rototiller Project (PIC#2): 2 caps that cover wells of oil/grease... the top one cap is a screw on cap, labeled with a 0.3 followed by a small lowercase cursive L shape. The bottom is a plug cap that looks like is plugging an opening that has a broken yellow plug in it... weird. I had to remove the "Rotate" plug and break the broken cap & threads it was plugging. I then used one of the extra caps in its place. FIXED
Rototiller Project: Had to remove the top 3pt mounting plate to connect this beast to it. I told my wife it was like artificially inseminating a cow! The oil/grease that was in these wells is in rough shape... I'll attempt to research and change. Ended up using 80w-90 gear oil in all wells.
Rototiller Project: Another shot of the connection
Rototiller Project: As much as I could do the first night... need to buy additional bolts to secure to tractor frame
Rototiller Serial plate:
RS1000K... then it speaks Japanese : )
bottom line in black box: 17788
Had this extra cap and used the broken one to cap off another that was missing!
Missing side cap guard... I originally packed it full of grease, but then I realized after adding the gear oil to the top arm well, it came pouring out this void. I have someone coming over to weld a plate over this (and to teach me how to weld). Will top off fluids once sealed
Heres a closup of the missing somethingorother... 1.75" diameter.
In my forum post, it was recommended that I pull this bearing out to relube. This is the non-gear joint of the actual auger (passenger side). I have no idea how to do this but I'm willing to give it a shot!
ok, I removed the cap and actually removed the seen hex nut, but don't know what to do from there...
about to get get this welded closed
