The second day we went by Waugh Lake and over Island Pass to Thousand Island Lake and back to Clark Trail
Andy, David, Rob, Chris, Teresa, Jo and me.
We stopped right before the pass and ate lunch with a view. Plus lots of flowers still in bloom.
Heading over Island pass
At the top of Island Pass there were several small lakes.
Lake at Island Pass
Thousand Island lake
Unknown lake off the trail.
There were several lakes by Agnew Pass
Most had trout in them. The water was all crystal clear.
We came back down the other side through Spooky Meadows and by Agnew lake again
You can see the trail we went up on.
Zoomed in and got a picture of Tim and Sharon coming down the other side.
We got up early and went to Glacier Point to start our hike to Halfdome and then back into the valley. We found this bear trying to get into the car. The owner left a watermelon in the back seat. We watched it for a little while until someone came along and scared it away.
One of the two cubs
Halfdome and Jo in the morning.
Not sure which waterfall this is??? illilouette falls maybe?
A view into Yosemite Valley
The bear that chased Chris. You can see the collar tag.
Coming up towards Halfdome, the front dome is subdome.
Chris thinking about the climb
Zoomed in to watch the ants crawling up and down. See the person on the bottom sitting?? This section was 60 degrees in some areas.
Hundreds of steps lead up to the top of sub dome and then it levels out before going up the chains.
David taking in the only warning signs.
I saw this lady coming down, not sure of she got to the top or not.
Chains leading up
About to head up
Wide open at the top.
About to go down, which was easy and less nerve racking then going up
rattle snake on the way back down the trail.
Afternoon photo of halfdome on the way back to Glacier Point.

View across Kings Canyon
There was a wild fire in Kings Canyon so the smoke was thick in the morning.
Jo and I hiked up to some lakes from Wolverton.
Nice views on the trail
Jo messing around by the cliff.
Jo relaxing at Emerald Lake
Jo almost pushed this rock into the valley.
A 4 ft rattlesnake in our way.
