"Just above Rollins. Thanks."
Bryan Conant
"This camp was cleared by recent CCC work in the area. It has been referred to as "Voodoo Camp". Long story behind this name."
Paul Cronshaw
"This has been referred to as "Cowboy Camp". Bring extra water from Vulture Springs if you plan to stay here."
Paul Cronshaw
"Kewl, that makes sense then."
Craig R Carey
"Craig, this location was indeed west of the real camp site. We were navigating this section at dusk / night and it was not obvious where the true camp was located. We came upon this flat area, after lots of rolling trail going down hill and saw the fire ring and camped here, The location is N34.63664 W119.00285. No old stove here just a flat place for a bivy."
Howard Cohen
"H'ard, looking at the location on the map, that looks a bit west of the camp I remember. Are there two, or am I just smoking crack? Is your EXIF/GPS data plotted by your camera, hard-coded, other? Was the old stove still there?"
Craig R Carey
"Always, but I think that's my new cologne. ;-) Dried leaves, bon. Makes much more sense."
Craig R Carey
"Craig they are only dry leaves. No manure when I scanned the original image. Do you smell something I didn't? "
Howard Cohen
"H'ard, is that horse manure in the foreground of this photo? That seems totally impossible."
Craig R Carey
"I eat Chia seeds every day!"
Steve Pero
"Oh hell yes; nice to see a lot of the Agua Blanca survived the fires unscathed."
Craig R Carey
"Great set, thanks for sharing H'ard!"

"We slept on this beach the last time we did Red Reef; great spot. Spotted a condor overhead as we were heading out the next morning. Great set -- trail looks amazing after all the work!"

"Yea it is a fine loop. I have to check out Red Reef. In fact I need to just get out and so some long runs. I have been a slave to the job lately and had fleeting moments if running. Trying to change that now to prep for RR50 and HURT. It will be an uphill battle but I will take it all in stride. Trying to plan a long run or fast pack for the weekend. You guys in town? "
