Map and profile of the ride
Leaving the RiteAid parking lot promptly at 7:30am. Left to right: Andy Goodell, Bill Fischer, Jamie Gartenberg and my shoulder.
On Judd Falls Rd.
We cross paths, on foot and riding a bicycle.
Mount Pleaant, great for interval training.
Bill and Andy catch up after the descent on Yellow Barn.

What breed of cows are these?
Here's a closeup. My guess is a “Highland Cow”.

Jamie, Andy and Bill arrive in Moravia. I had been waiting for a couple of minutes after arriving from my mini-time-trial effort on Rockefeller Rd.
After my crash last Saturday I needed a new jersey. For some time I have been wanting the beautiful FLCC jersey.
Leaving Moravia for the second time. Bill and Jamie returned to Ithaca while Andy and I continued the ride.

81.3 miles, 30 more to go!
We were not sure if this was a dead end or not. It turned out to be, but the gates were open and we crossed someones property to get to the other side.
I'm not sure I would feel very safe with all those boulders on a precipice behind my house.
The dog you see was very happy to see us. The people, not so much. They did not even reply to my “Hello!”.
A jockey (very small stature) keeps the entrance illuminated at night.
This has to be the most cyclist friendly road in Ithaca, at least when it comes to bathrooms. This one is open.
I asked this person if the road was a dead end. He didn't answer.
Railroad Crossing? What? I must have eaten some weird mushrooms...
There were several of these small waterfalls.
View of Cayuga Lake from Honoco Rd.
We arrive in King Ferry. Andy and I ate subs and watched a bit of Florida State vs. North Carolina. Florida State won the game!
My cue-sheet said King Ferry Bakery & Cafe. Things must have changed.
On Salmon Creek Rd.
I took this while Andy tended to his insuline pump.
