NAU student Corey Begay begins working on a portrait of noted author and poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. Wilson Riles, pictured right, graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1940, then named Arizona State Teacher's College, with a bachelor's degree in education. He worked at Dunbar School, named after Paul Laurence Dunbar, in Flagstaff and earned his master's degree from NAU in 1947. He was named associate superintendent of California Public Instruction in 1958.
