This is Emma. She wanted to come with me to shop for puppy donations, but she was sick :(
So she made a very detailed list of what I should get.
This is Indy. He is our rescue puppy from the pound. We love him so much & want to make sure other puppies are loved & have a Merry Christmas, too!
This is our other dog, Emily. She's not a rescue. Just goofy.
I headed to Walmart with Emma's list in hand.
My first stop was the battery center. We just got a touchless trash can and it takes 4 D batteries, which I didn't have at home
I also stopped to quickly check out the gift sets. We get a few kids from the giving tree every year, and I love seeing if there are great deals on things to get them.
The fall pumpkins were finally on sale! Only $2.50. Snatched one for next year
Also had to stop by the scrapbooking section - the other Walmart I go to doesn't have these templates! Wooo! Score!
Lots and lots of toys.
My daughter would LOVE this Lego dislplay!
I had to stop in the craft section to grab some rhinestones for a homemade Christmas gift we're doing once she's better
Getting to the pet food section, finally! All the way in the back of the store.
I had to resist getting these adorable stockings to donate. Trying to stay focused, but how cute are the purple ones?!
The treats aisle - every dog's favorite section :)
These Milo's Kitchen treats look interesting - no artificial flavors or colors!
And lots of different choices
I think a rescue puppy would like these
And the price is amazing - less than $2!
Milk-Bone® treats are our puppies favorite treats. I think the rescue organization could use some of these!
Aw, the puppy version! Going to grabe these!
Bones are a MUST for puppies
And these last forever. Going to grab one.
Pup-Peroni is seriously the BEST for dog training. This is the only brand we used when taking Emily to puppy class, and we trained Indy using them too.
They are nice because you can easily break them into smaller pieces!
These are new! Going to grab a bag of these!
And I've never seen the Jerky before, either.
Our dogs aren't overweight, but my mom's dog it. We might have to get this for a stocking stuffer for her!
Can you see that towards the bottom? Pupcorn - hilarious!
Exer-Hides? Mini barbells for dogs. Hmmm...
Puppies love to chew, and ours love stuffed animals!
These are great, too!
Frisbees are a big hit in our house. Going to grab one to donate
Leashes are a necessity too
We always got the regular leash, not the expandable one. Easier to control, especially with puppies who don't know better. We grabbed one!
Definitely need a feeding bowl!
Purple - I think Emma would approve!
Probably not a good idea to get a Santa toy - don't want the puppy to think it's ok to chew on the big red guy!
These are cute, though.
And lots of dog beds to choose from. Since we don't know what size the puppy will be who gets these things, we'll pass.
I had no idea Walmart carried this organic dog food!
Aw, all the sweaters! I'll have to come back to get one for Indy. He's always cold.
Poo bags! I have enough of these for now, but these are always a good thing to have
These treat bag holders are what we used for dog training - the broken up Pup-Peroni fits in there great & helps with training incentives
And these are good to keep puppies busy. Our dogs have them and love them.
Bark control at Walmart? Could've used this when we lived at our last house!
These Mar-O ones are new to me!
And these are fake pigs' ears. Too funny!
More holiday dog things!
