Just before sunset - sunlight tried to peek through scattered rain showers. In a couple minutes this amazing show was gone forever.
Late afternoon - stiff breezes on White Sands kicks up the fine gypsum dust.
Autumn sunrise - sun in the Tularosa Basin, but not yet on our foothills in Laborcita Canyon. Because the sun is always low at this time of year, the shadows on the mountains make for a more dramatic appearance than in summer.
Sunrise, late November. A frontal passage and humid air...creates thunderstorms over the Gila Wilderness. Several hours later this hit us...dumping two inches of soggy hail in 15 minutes.
