A packet of salmon.
Fry it in olive oil. There will be enough for tomorrow's supper here too.
Prepare some Brussels sprouts. With a shout-out to the excellent Global kitchen knives.
Put the sprouts in a steamer.
Boil some water for the sprouts. (One of the great mysteries of America is the lack of electric kettles.)
Boil some pasta too.
Fry the salmon on the other side.
And now the magic ingredient: capers.
Fry tonight's salmon and the capers together a bit.
Add a tin of tomatoes.
And boil it for a few minutes to reduce it. By the way, I love my Coolskin oven gloves with fingers.
