Heavenly! The cabinet doors are in place, and they really do look gorgeous.
All that's left is the tile backsplash, and that will be pretty sensational. Not your ordinary 4" tile run.

I got the distinct privilege of building all of the cabinet doors. The first few were a little off, but the rest are perfectly flush.

Lovely cherry faces. All the faces will be attached together seamlessly.
Philips PAR38 LED lights. Can you believe they use 16 Watts each?! Very bright, good color, and they'll last for many years. LED lighting seems to have finally arrived.

We're less than halfway through attaching the cherry faces.
We had to work quickly before the glue dried.

All ready to go for cabinet installation on 8/26. It should go fast.
We found level using a self-leveling line laser tool, then measured from the line to the floor every linear foot. We then cut the 2X4s to match the floor profile. This worked like a charm.
