Kilfenora, Carron, Burren Web
Kilfenora is a magical small town in the Burren in County Clare. Built in 1189 A.D., Kilfenora Cathedral is dedicated to St. Fachtnan. The Cathedral contains a number of interesting carvings on grave slabs, windows, and doorways. The Cathedral is particularly known for its numerous high crosses, which today are, with one exception, displayed in the roofed north chapel in the cathedral.
