NeilPryde BuraSL build with SRAM Red and THM components. The bike came in at 10 lbs 15 oz for the complete bike with a pretty solid build.
Introducing the NeilPryde Bura SL sub 750 grams and more....This complete race worthy bike comes in at 10Lbs 13Oz on the dot! With a ride quality better than all the super light frames available on the market, which will make most of us scratch our head when looking at the price tag on its competition such as the R5CA, and the Cannondale EVO Black. The Bura SL utilizes C6.9 uni-directional carbon fiber, the highest modulus suitable for bikes, and incorporates our proprietary Exoskeleton technology, first developed for the award winning DIABLO. External carbon fibre ribs integrated in the key joints of the monocoque front triangle ensure the BURAsl reacts super fast to any force applied to the pedals during seated accelerations and or an all out out of the saddle sprint.
Optimized tube profiles, OTP for short, was developed using finite element analysis enable frame stiffness to be maximized in critical areas to ensure efficient power transfer as well as comfort. This is applied to the top tube as well as the in the rear triangle of the Bura SL
