Finished girls. Two + weeks of restoration work, well worth it.
WB Samantha is VERY played with but not abused. She has retracting lashes on one eye. Her hair is very dry. The ribbon on her dress is damaged.
You can see the lash problem
Precious dirty face.
WB eyes...my first time seeing this type in person.
The plastic casing comes up and has a little lip on the silver part.
You can see the unique design of the weight.
Flesh colored tension cups.
Much combed hair.
Lashes. Off comes Sam's head as she is the first one to get some serious work.
Samantha is adorable from front on. She had a complete overhaul. I will be selling this gorgeous girl naked. I will keep the meet dress and ribbon which both show some fraying.
I love her hair. She now has soft ringlets
I had to glue each lash one at a time.....from front on her eye looks fine but when it is closed you can see the less than perfect results.
This one is my favorite. She has this sweet squishy vinyl. She may have never had her dress off before. The cloth body is pristine. Her dress and undies both still have the crisp fabric feel.
Both eyes are silvered.
Vinyl needs to be cleaned.
Is it wrong to fuss over this girl like a grandma and her grandkids.....I think she is the cutest Addy ever.
Both eyes were silvered but I used Robot's restoration techniques and I am very pleased with her finished look.
All Addy needed after the eye repair was some light washing. Her limbs are still tight even though she appears to be an older girl. I didn't even need to wash her outfit.
I think this is her original braid. I have not gone digging in there yet as I love her just as she is.
WB Kirsten. At least one braid is still in its original form. The other is a little mussed. Her amber necklace is included.
No silver eye.
Both braids are still original but needed a little straightening. I tightened her limbs and gave her a good washing.
A really sweet girl that is hard to part with but I will be selling her.
PM Molly. She and Samantha are the two most played with dolls. She is dirty and I found two ink stains on one arm and leg. Her hair is very dry but so far is conditioning nicely.
Molly got a good scrubbing and restringing. I thoroughly conditioned and restored her hair....it is fabulous.
Another one that is hard to let go, but I will be selling this Molly.
