Construction of the first of two tower cranes began in May 2007.
The concrete foundation for the tower crane was poured earlier in the year.
The first tower crane erected is just south of the intersection of 16th and Central streets.
It took about a week to assemble the crane.
Most people are surprised to learn that the Proscenium Theater will be just 30 feet shorter than the current height of the north tower.
A second tower crane was erected on the western part of the site and a moveable crane is used as well.
