The sun slowly peeps from the horizon
It's rays furnishing light and life on everything it touches.
The shimmering rays refresh the nature around
It throws open another wonderful occasion
To prove that life is worth the living.
It brings to view the crystal clear diamonds
on the leaves and flowers of my backyard
fresh, pure, transparent and refreshing in their form
Yet, delicate and are subjected to ephemeral.
They fade away as the heat rays hit them.
Am I like these dews that hasten to quit?
PANORAMA OF DAWN
© Ma - i
The radiant sphere of golden light, rises over the mountain worn.
The flowering buds spreading wide and opening husk of yellow corn.
The shadows of ebony night retreating behind a vale of coming light.
The dawning of another dawn with bright sunlit rays coming into sight.
Mothers rise, gathering sleepy eyed children one by one.
breakfast to make, before endless chores never done.
Fathers awakening to grander ideas waiting to be taken.
Down to the kitchen where roams, ample aromas of breakfast bacon.
Down the staircase, to the car that awaits the days drive to work.
Another ride upon sunlit road where untold dangers sometimes lurk.
The smell of a bakery drifting, carefree, upon the morning breeze.
The dew from a passing lawn melting away under a warming sun's ease.
All this and countless more may be viewed with some surprise.
For those willing to see unraveling, in another dazzling sunrise.
