It is a vision that has root traced back to the beginning of the nation. It is the biggest project that has been undertaken in China since the Great Wall and the Grand Canal. It is the biggest dam in the world. It is the Three Gorges Dam!

Power facility next to the dam. Originally they projected to generate 20% of the country's electricity, but because of the unexpected growth in power consumption now they expect to generate about “only” 4%.

Next to the bridge is a garden with 1997 trees. This garden is called the Hong Kong Reunification Garden and 1997 was the year Hong Kong reunite with China.
