A friend needed a shallow cabinet-- only about 8 inches deep, but 4 feet wide and 42 inches high. Made it from the recycled pine, since I still have several hundred board feet left! I put Danish oil on the door panels before assembly, but she decided to paint the cabinet so no finsh on the rest of the wood. Her future plan is to put hand-made ceramic tiles below the top and down the front side.

Kitchen Island to match Hoosier cabinet above. Rock maple top finished with wipe-on poly; sides are finished with danish oil and topcoat of shellac. Insdes are just shellac.

Gloria's bed and nightstands - recycled Doug fir. Book matched nightstand doors and sides. Finished with Daly's wood conditioner,Watco medium walnut danish oil, and shellac on top. Nail holes and knots left unfilled, except for top surface of nightstands.
