Fabric Store In Jerusalem Israel
When I get the chance I like to check out fabric stores wherever I travel. I hope you enjoy these albums of some of the amazing places I have been able to visit.
When shopping in Israel everything is so different. Fabric bolts are crowded upright in narrow shops 10 bolts deep. No prices are marked on the bolt. You have to convert both currency (sheckels to dollars) and quantity (meters to yards) to determine if the prices are good or not. The good news is...in israel many immigrants still sew and there were at least half a dozen fabric stores on Ben Yehuda street. I was even able to buy minky for 15 sheckels per meter ($4 per yard)
