Scenes & trail sections along the Wapack Trail: Heading North from the Route 123/124 (Windblown, New Ipswich, NH) area towards the Miller State Park (RT 101, Peterborough, NH)
A small section of dirt road.
Small water-crossing with ample rocks for traversing.
While many side trails beckon, follow the yellow triangles to remain on the Wapack.
Some of the more runnable Wapack sections grace this segment.
This section is along the 2.2 miles within the "Avelinda Forest," which is owned by and dedicated to Mr. Thomas Cabot. It is my one of my favorite sections.
Somewhere between Burton and Holt Peak.
Along the Temple Mountain Ledges (after Holt Peak)
Descending the old Temple Mt. downhill ski area with Pack Monadnock in the distance.
