Valve body assembled
Remove 2 bolts securing range sensor. (note: plug faces to rear for stock setup)
Remove range sensor
Loosen rooster comb spring bolt
Remove manual lever retaining pin (careful not to damage surrounding surface)
Loosen manual lever nut. (note the relationship of the manual valve and detent wheel pin)
Pull manual lever out enough so you can rotate it (faces toward top of trans). Replace pin, manual lever nut, and rooster spring/bolt (reverse removal process)
Note the NEUTRAL marking. Two lines should align when manual lever is in N position.
Eventually added second bracket to support rear of range sensor.
Rod to floor shifter
I had to tilt trans forward in order to clear the rockers. This little bracket held the torque converter in place during tilting/jacking trans.
Going Up! I ended up placing a piece of wood (not pictured) under the pan to level it.
