A rainy day at my local Walmart.
Giant Christmas tree greets me at the front door. (Too bad no shopping carts did).
I thought I knew right where to find the Elmer's/X-ACTO products, but I think they moved them. I found with the other adhesives.
Here are glue stick and glitter glue.
Better picture (not so good with the phone camera, yet.)
Here is the pack of posterboard I bought for my tree project.
located with the loose posterboard.
Here is most of the line I could find at our Walmart. Not every product was available.
And a better shot! I bought the dot runner. Should have bought a refill for the dot runner. And the scrapbook double-sided tape, which I love!
Sorry about the bad picture, but this is the "craft" aisle, where I found most of the Elmer's products.
I think I got the last pair of the X-ACTO Precision scissors. They have nice sharp tips.
I knew I needed to add a little sparkle to my project and thought these sparkle glue tubes might do the trick!
And now you can see what they actually look like. Sparkle Glue in gold, silver, and white glitter.
I can always use more glue sticks! Grabbed a couple packs.
I love that Walmart carries Wilton products. I needed lots of cupcake liners.
I didn't end up using these little silver ones, but figured out how to make some little ornaments with them if I want to add them to the tree later.
Found a cart--hallelujah! Here's all my project supplies, but needed some other stuff while at Walmart.
Creating a S'mores bar for a birthday party. Thought these stacks of graham crackers would be convenient.
I found all kinds of varieties of marshmallows.
And here is the finished project! Go to http://meandmyinsanity.com/2011/12/cupcake-liner-christmas-tree-elmers-holiday-gluenglitter.html for the full tutorial!
