This outside corner was upgraded to a 6x6 post hence the "slotted" recessed notch" for existing foundation strap.
We spray wood preservative on the ends on on top of the concrete.

New 2x12 blocking with vapor barrier behind it now protects the corner of the house from water, the green is the wood preservative

Sample Siding was painted with the Sherwin Williams 5 Gallons ((cinnimin) and is being held in between the old siding on the bottom of the house .
It is next to the Behr Redwood Gallon I used on the new (REAL) Redwood window trim on the new casement window
