photographs really cannot do justice to these trees. this "father of the forest" is 250 feet tall, with a circumference of 66 feet 9 inches around its base.
i used by rock climbing skills to summit this redwood stump.
the sempervirens falls. normally a gushing spout during the winter and spring, we were disappointed to find the waterfall in its 'trickling' state.
