Outside Liechtenstein Palace. I can only assume that there are no cats in the neighbourhood.
The galleries at the Liechtenstein Palace didn't permit photography, so this 18th century stagecoach is the only pic I have.
One wine garden I passed named some of the plants (or possibly the sticks, hard to be sure) No idea why.
The top of the hill represents my destination. I had no idea what the building was, but it was the highest point that I could see, so that is where I headed.
I saw these deer once, but they scampered off before I could get the camera out. This time they were further away (far enough that I didn't even know there were two of them in the picture until I downloaded it.)
Yep, it took me awhile, particularly since I had no idea of the correct route, but I made to the top. Sadly, the short tower, which looks ideal for seeing the city over the trees, is only open May-October.
Looking back towards Vienna, lots of haze.
