The bucket tails really make Walter's heart kite look good
Lucy and Kerry added some words to their new Pilot. "Catchin' the wind"
Get that bridle untangled. Kathy Holt, Lucy Jonkman and Kerry St Dennis
Just hang on we almost have it figured out.
Nice display guys!
Close up of the nice Applique.
Good nutrition with HQ Asparagus & Cauliflower!!!
Close look at some Cauliflower!!!
Mark Groshens, Kyle Ische and Bill Peart.
We all like the family that brought the Clone Wars box kite!
The first year we had people from Toronto show up!!!
Who could it be that made this really nice Pilot??????
It's Patrick and Walter the co-builders of this fine kite!!
Nice job boys!
It's that moment when you know your creation really flies!
Somebody has been shopping on eBay me thinks! Lucy helps Walter get his kite inflated.
Patrick, Bill and Kathy wait for the team to launch the heart shapped foil.
Kerry had to step in to to help launch :-)
There it goes!
Wow, it really makes an impact in the sky! Everyone noticed it going up.
Another shot of a great looking kite!
Then things went a little wrong. The tail ripped off the kite and landed in a tree about 30 feet up.
Mark Groshen drove home and picked up parts to make a pole and hook to retrieve the tails. Steve Finch and Ziggy Racek helped too!
Thanks Mark! Walter did not think he was going to get his brand new tail back. Aye Cap'n Hook!
Kerry brought out his rev
So did Patrick
Froggy seems lonely.
The Revs keep froggy company.
Not too close
Kerry and Patrick works on some pairs flying
Maybe you guys can demo at Kortright next?
Walter brought out his 11ft Ghost
Dennis Ische flying his Zoro delta
So I had to put up a purple ghost
Walter and Patrick quickly assembled this monolithic Tetra kite
The team made one more kite rescue just before dusk. Some poor unknown soul got their kite caught in a light post some time ago.
Steve Finch, Ziggy Racek and Mark Groshens with their new kite
This kite was left behind by someone that could not reteive it from the 30 ft high light post. Pity they did not know Mark and the boys.
I took a shot from the ground looking up. Should give you some scale for how high it was ;-) Good fun thanks everyone!
