Don, the air field manager, welcomes us to the Cafe
Our flight leaves WHEN? for WHERE?
Jamie dancing the Nutting Girl
Where the heck are his hankies?
Shag takes on Ladies Pleasure
Funny, Tom doesn't seem tired at all...
Steve, just clowning around, but looking good doing it
Hey - what's SHE doing in here?
Jamie levitating. Oooooooooommmm!
Aw, isn't that precious?
From the air field we set off in search of some lunch, in the hope
that the rain might ease if we just waited a bit. The desire to
consume beer had absolutely nothing to do with our decision.
Our initial destination, the Horseshoe, in Hudson, was unfortunately
closed for renovations. We then set course for Kennedy's Pub (
in Marlborough. This turned out to be an excellent choice, offering
good food, pleasant service and cold beer on tap. After about an hour
of loading ballast we walked outside and found that the rain had, in
fact, stopped. Steve pointed out that clearly drinking, not Morris dancing,
has the power to change the weather.
Getting started at Tower Hill with Upton
