Another PicMonkey variation of my Boston Waterfront photo. This time, I used Curves (invert) and Texture and a bit of Orton.
I combined two photos (the sky background and the balloon) using PicMonkey's improved Overlay tool (released today), now with selective erasure. Makes it easy to combine photos, or do a "face swap" switcheroo, or add just some of any overlay.

We cut down a tree and created this city. (edited in +PicMonkey)
With a bit more PicMonkeying of my last photo, we now have Tree City - Spaceship edition. Used the +PicMonkey Overlay feature to layer a nebula photo (courtesy of NASA). Use the Erase Overlay tool to keep the bits I needed for the background, set blend mode of Lighten and some pinkish tint, and we're ready for an adventure.

My daughter "flying" through the forest. She's on a zip line coming towards me.
Used PicMonkey's Focal Zoom effect to make her more visible. :)
Driving home on Christmas Day. The sky was gorgeous!

I found a perfect quote to go with my sunrise photo from earlier today. This is my new phone background to remind me ... take every opportunity. (created with +PicMonkey)

Endangered black-billed gulls at Henley Lake here in Masterton.
I created this image using +PicMonkey in a few easy steps:
-- Start with a blank white canvas (choose Design on the PicMonkey homepage)
-- Add the rectangle (Overlays tool). Set colour to black.
-- Add the text (Text tool). Set colour to black.
-- Add the photo as an Overlay using "Your Own". Set the blend mode to "Add" so the photo comes through the black.
-- Move around/resize to get the placement just right.
-- Save it!
