Look closely to see the route, Hot Fudge Thursday, marked on Windy Peak
Approach was somewhat steep but on an easy-to-follow trail. The approach of 1430 vertical feet took us 53 minutes.
Daniel starts up the first pitch, a fun, 5.8 featured crack for 160'
Looking down at Daniel on the 165', 5.9, second pitch. Fun, thin climbing on really good rock.
Pulling through one of the 5.9 sections
Daniel heading up the third pitch, a steep, exposed 5.8 headwall
Finishing up with the headwall of the third pitch
A nice view to the east
Seconding the fourth pitch. It wasn't a great pitch--5.6 with some poor rock.
Looking up the fifth pitch. The pitch follows the crack/small corner on the right of the photo
Daniel passing through the exit notch of the sixth pitch. From here it was a couple hundred feet of fourth class to the summit of Windy Peak

Back at the car at 2:00pm. High clouds during the day kept things cool much of the day but still climbable.
