About eight inches of snow for the first significant snowfall at Pajarito Mountain this season. With rock boards on our back, we headed up the mountain.
Definitely thin but desperate times allow for desperate measures
Even if the skiing isn't so good, the hiking and scenery are well worth it
We stopped at "the tree" at the top of Pussycat
Ripping it up! (The bases of our boards, that is.) We hit a number of rocks, but no core shots. After the first few turns we opted to ride the jeep trails down the rest of the mountain. They were much better, less rocky and enjoyable.
Looking down Big Mother
Gettin' aggro on the cat walks
Three Fingers could still use some filling in
Surprisingly, the best turns were at the very bottom of Lumberyard/Aspen
