An older Disston - marked "JY" by (presumably) my great-grandfather. Since he died in 1917, this saw would be at least 90 years old. Lower horn is broken, unfortunately.
Disston medallion from JY's 24" rip saw
Spear and Jackson - ornate medallion
Odd dowel section inside the handle. It looks to be part of the original manufacture... but why?
Could this odd projection be the anti-nib?
Another well-loved old Disston - same medallion as JY's 24" rip. Someone in my paternal line was extremely tough on saws!
New saw vice
4 1/2 PPI ripsaw - I suspect possibly a Lysaght-made one
Faint etch of crossed swords
The etch on my Simonds tenon saw
Simonds 12" tenon saw
Disston 12" tenon saw
Jetsons-inspired crosscut saw
My saw till
Plane till... ok, plane jumble
