Ian Mikardo Way Housing Campaign
Rob met with residents of Ian Mikardo Way, Caversham, to listen to their concerns about the condition of their properties. Rob also took the opportunity to invite Catalyst Housing Association, who manage the properties, to listen to their concerns.
Rob was originally contacted by resident, Malcolm Keitch, who was concerned about the state of his windows and guttering. Mr Keitch was worried that Catalyst Housing’s plans to make repairs to his property would not be adequate.
Rob commented, “Housing Associations have a responsibility to their residents and I felt it was important for Catalyst Housing to hear the concerns of my constituents. Today’s meeting seems to have resulted in some positive outcomes and hopefully residents will be happy with the work that is due to take place in the coming months. However, I will be keeping a close eye on it and if any of my constituents have similar concerns I will be happy to take up their case.”
