People gathered early to set up their spots at the Keizer Rotary Amphitheater to watch a screening of "ET: The Extraterrestial."
The movie screen by "ET" was built and assembled by Rick Day of Advantage Precast of Keizer.

Global Mission Readiness held a fund raiser for Team Nicaragua on Sunday, Sept. 9, at Log House Garden at Willow Lake. The bbq picnic and silent auction raised about $5,000 for the team which will travel to Nicaragua early next year to teach firefighters there. PBH Brewing offered a variety of beer. The strawberry shortcake was a hit as well.
